Hello everyone,
I am Cyril Vendact,
the channel manager for Keepit in Europe.
I am delighted to welcome today Cydic from Innovision.
Thank you very much Cyril.
Cydic Eliaiboukous,
founder and president of Innovision.
Cydic,
do you think there are simple and easy solutions
to implement to improve cyber-resilience?
In order to implement a cyber-resilience plan,
to start something with simple and easy means,
the first and simplest thing is to
ensure that our system is up to date.
We are currently deploying the latest updates.
This is the simplest way to reduce the attack surface of
an SIC.
This is the minimum of the trade union?
Absolutely.
The second is to have
a system of access management and basic identity.
As an example,
within this framework,
it is to have at least a password policy.
And also to use technologies such as
MFA to be able to double-authenticate,
etc.
Adding to this,
it is very important today to have a system,
a way to secure
our terminals,
our mobile peripherals,
among others,
our devices,
as we say.
So for this,
today it is very important at the very
least to have an EDR that is deployed
on these positions to be able to counter
the sophisticated threats that we have today.
And two last things,
so very important,
we must not forget the human part of this whole equation.
So that's why the human outburst of
the company must be taken into account.
This is why it is also very important to constantly train staff,
employees on the
right reflexes, on the basics of cybersecurity.
And to finish with this whole equation,
it is important to have a good system,
a good
solution rather than a safeguard,
because ultimately,
when everything is going to fail,
And that's why having a good safeguard that
respects the good practices is very important
in this whole equation.
Yes,
it is the security net to be used in case everything else fails.
Absolutely.
A cyber-resilience plan is not complete
without a safeguard and restoration solution.
Because when in the end everything is going to fail,
the last resort that an organization
will have to restore these operations is ultimately the safeguard.
That's why today it is very important
to have a safeguard solution that is in place,
that respects the good practices,
such as the 3-2-1-0 principle,
such as immutability,
and also to have all the safeguarding,
disconnection,
etc.
And especially the most important part,
the safeguard must be available to the public,
and that is to be available quickly in
case tomorrow we have an adverse situation,
a complicated situation that we must manage.
